the community around us.

Gospel Communities

Outside of our Sunday gatherings, Gospel Communities are the main thing we do. We gather in GC’s with our friends to live life together and experience the gospel in ways we simply can’t on our own. It is here that we pray together, study God’s Word, eat good food, and do life together. It is therefore here that disciples are made, care takes place, followers of Jesus deepen in holiness, and the beautiful relational life of the New Testament Church is experienced. Whether you’ve been in church for years or are just connecting in, we’d be eager to fold you in. GC’s meet in homes all over our area including Wahroonga, Hornsby, Waitara, Turramurra, Gordon, the Hills, and more.

Christianity Explored

Christianity Explored is a course designed to explore the life and teaching of Jesus Christ through one of the earliest biographies of his life, the Gospel of Mark. The course runs over 6 weeks in a relaxed, non-threatening environment, taking a deeper look at: Who is Jesus? Why did he come? What does it mean for us? Each of the weekly sessions contains 30-minute talks, followed by a 30-minute discussion to interact with the talk and share your perspective. It’s a safe environment where you can ask whatever question you like or not say a word.

Sovereign Grace Kids

The laughter and noise of children is a wonderfully regular experience at Sovereign Grace Church. One of the frequent observations from our visitors is the sheer number of kids present, and so if you do have children then it certainly won’t be long before they make friends with others their own age. At Sovereign Grace Church we believe that learning should be an engaging and fun experience. God is not boring and we don’t want our kids to think that he is, and so we have a program for all ages, that includes all the things that kids love – games, crafts, teaching, and music, all housed in a fun and informal environment. At our 10:00 AM service we offer classes for children from 6 months old through to 6th grade and at 5:00 PM, classes for kindy through to 6th grade. We are fully staffed each and every Sunday, all year round.

Men's Ministry

Through our Men’s Ministry we intentionally invest in men to help them embrace their calling to courageously and sacrificially follow Jesus for the glory of God. Our investment includes Men’s Breakfasts, Bible Studies, Beer & Theology Nights, as well as other discipleship opportunities where we gather together as men to hear teaching, share life, and encourage one another to live for Christ.

Women's Ministry

Our Women’s Ministry offers various ways women can experience fellowship and encouragement here at Sovereign Grace Church, and we would love you to join them all! We offer semi-annual breakfasts where we enjoy fellowship, worship, teaching, and discussion. Our Women’s Bible Studies are always a big hit, taking place twice a year all over our area. Likewise, our all-in socials, where we come together for fellowship and relationship building, are always very well attended. We’d love for you to join us.

Connect Sundays

This is your one-stop shop to getting to hear more about the values and vision of Sovereign Grace Church, meet one or more of the Pastors, and ask any questions that you may have. These run eight to ten times a year, during the service, with the aim of helping you get connected with the family that is Sovereign Grace Church. We’d love to have you along!
